HMH Building Project
In 2005, Harrison Memorial Hospital made the decision to expand its current facility, to allow for more efficient, more technologically advanced care to be delivered to our patients. Hospital administrators worked hand in hand with Hospital Board members, architects, space planners and the like to develop a new $15 million, state-of-the-art facility.
This new expansion doubles the size of our existing Emergency Department, and makes room for additional surgical suites which can now house more technology. It also houses the spacious Elizabeth Bailey Women's Health Center, complete with cutting-edge labor, delivery and recovery suites and a beautiful newborn nursery. New chemotherapy/infusion suites as well as a new hospital pharmacy were also included.
